This custom built cabinet is made from a matching pair of refurbished pine bookcases mounted with a large Dogon granary door from Mali. This is a dramatic one of a kind piece with a stain used on the case to match the natural deep mahogany tones of the door. The carvings on the door depict ancestral figures as well fertility symbols that are meant to protect the grain from thievery and promote future bounty for the harvest.
